4. Giving Program Survey and Resources

Dear Delegates,

Warm Greetings!

I am contacting you at this time to ask those of you whose charges have used any part(s) of our three Giving programs (“Called to be the Church” 2015, “Salt & Light” 2016, and “We Sing Thanksgiving” 2017) to please give us a little time, and some very important information, by filling out a brief survey.   Would you?  Please????

The purpose of the survey is twofold – to hear about successful practices and to offer constructive comment to improve the resource.

Please click on the following link:   Giving Program Survey to start.

Feel free to share the link with any individuals who might be open to contributing.

Thank you so much in advance for participating!  For those who have not yet used these resources, but who are interested in learning more about them, or any of our excellent Stewardship resources, please e-mail or call me.

Blessings,
Roger Janes

True Stories from Palestine

Shared by a recently returned ecumenical accompanier

Listen to eye-witness accounts and discover more about the reality of Palestine and Israel in this 90-minute webinar. You will be able to learn more about the occupation, and hear how you can link your community of faith to a new campaign as well as a tried-and-true resource. We will learn about The No Way to Treat a Child Campaign; this is a campaign that you may want to highlight on Children’s Sunday (November 19). We will also briefly review The Advent Peace Box, which has new ideas for 2017. (The order deadline for the Advent Peace Box is November 17.)

Speaker: Members of The United Church of Canada have been active participants in the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI), which is a program of the World Council of Churches. The EAPPI creates an international presence to contribute toward the realization of a just peace in Palestine and Israel. Our presenter was an Ecumenical Accompanier from January to April 2017.

Free, accessible from anywhere. Use this as a moment to introduce a friend to this topic.
