2. Pastoral Visitors Workshop: Truro Presbytery

Clergy and lay visitors (already visiting or newly interested) are invited to a Pastoral Visitors workshop on Saturday, Nov. 10th at St. Andrew’s United Church, Truro. We gather at 10am and are on our way at 2:30pm.

We consider recent shifts in pastoral care, especially in changing times and within part-time ministry; we explore what makes a visit “pastoral;” and with the assistance of an experienced panel, we reflect on practical strategies to common issues and learn helpful practices to support and nurture a pastoral care team within a community of faith.

The first 30 participants registered will receive 4 sets of 10 seasonal Pastoral Visiting Cards (a Prayer Bench design) to share with those visited. Cards include a photo, scripture, brief reflection and Prayer. Pastoral Visiting Cards are also available for sale.

Register with Kim Curlett at kimcurlett@gmail.com     The cost of this workshop is $10. Lunch is provided.
