The following is an excerpt from a letter to William Reid, of Barrasois, N.S., from Rev. Charles W. Swallow. This particular letter caught my attention because of the nice description of the Nappan Methodist Circuit, it’s not often that one is able to catch a glimpse of the personal life of a nineteenth century Methodist minister. At the Annual Meeting of Maritime Conference in May 2018 in Sackville, NB, participants heard Sister Maudilia Lopez Cardona describing the impact that Goldcorp’s Marlin Mine has had in San Miguel Ixtahuacan, Guatemala.  This is a follow-up letter which asks the Pension Board to support demands for reparations from communities affected by the mines. Fracking letter sample 2018
