Remembrance Day from the Archives
The following is a register of soldiers during World War II, including their home addresses and next of kin. These soldiers all passed through Saint John, New Brunswick. Centenary-Queen Square United Church, where the register is from, along with other churches in the area formed groups to help support the soldiers, including organizing entertainment nights and providing supplies. This was the case in 1890 when the Congregational congregation at Brooklyn, Nova Scotia decided to begin work on a new building to replace the building they had been worshiping in since 1852.
