Friends of Kwan Ming Kwan Ming makes three friends on his journey from China to the New World. Once the men arrive, they all look for work but find nothing. When opportunities finally arise, Kwan Ming lets his friends have the best jobs: tailor, shoemaker and baker. Kwan takes a lowly position as helper to a mean store owner. His cruel boss makes three impossible demands: that Kwan Ming find him a woolen suit that never tears, boots that never wear out and bread that won’t go stale. Kwan Ming’s generosity of spirit pays off when his friends come to his aid.

Footprints of Faith.  In India and Canada groups of women from both countries meet and share common concerns. As they walk in one another’s footprints in one another’s country, bonds of friendship and understanding grow. FIVE MINUTE PROJECT (THE)

The 5 Minute Project is a collection of 21 five-minute videos by women producers from around the world. These videos were prepared for the Beijing United Nations Conference on women held in September 1995. The project arose out of the World Association for Christian Communication Symposium in Thailand two years before and was spear-headed by UCTV’s Leslie Adams and the subsequent involvement of Kristine Greenaway. Stories from the 5 Minute Project were broadcast in Canada on Vision TV during the Beijing Conference via WETV satellite.
